Creating Stronger Communities

Helping Hands High Point is a Christian organization providing food, emergency financial assistance, and basic life skills education to community members in need.

Our vision is to enhance the quality of life for all people within the greater High Point community.

Our Services

Food Assistance

While we can’t replace the grocery store, our food boxes may contain meat, produce, deli items, canned food, bread, and desserts, as available. Our food supply changes daily as we rely on local partners, including Second Harvest Food Bank, grocery stores, restaurants, individuals, churches, and organizations.

Utility Assistance

We partner with the City of High Point to provide utility assistance to qualifying individuals and families who have their utilities through the City of High Point. This assistance is for High Point City customers ONLY.

Rental Assistance

We offer financial assistance to community members in High Point, Jamestown, Archdale, and Trinity who are facing eviction from their home or apartment. The need must be an emergency within the current month of amount due.

Educational Classes

We offer a series of educational classes throughout the year. These are basic life skills lessons in cooking and nutrition, financial literacy, fire and safety, and home repair. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for all people within the greater High Point community.

Host a Food Drive

Hosting a food drive for Helping Hands is a great way to nurture connections and directly support neighbors facing hunger! Whether you're a business, church, school, or community group, organizing a food drive helps us keep our pantry shelves stocked and ensures we can continue serving the neighbors who rely on us each week.

It's simple to get started — and every can, box, or bag of food makes a difference!

Call Stephanie at 336.886.2328 to get started. We’ll provide a logo collection box, pamphlets, and a list of our most-needed nonperishable foods.

Rally your team, spread the word, and be part of the hunger solution.
Host a food drive and help us feed hope into our community!

sponsor Our annual Fundraiser

Be a vital part of our mission by sponsoring Gather to Give, our annual fundraiser, where we bring the community together to fight hunger.

As a sponsor, your business, church, or organization will not only gain meaningful visibility but also demonstrate a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of local families.

The funds raised at Gather to Give directly support our food pantry, which serves over 750 households each week.

Join us in creating lasting impact by partnering with us as a sponsor — and help us Gather to Give hope.
